Mentorship gets a lot of lip service from quality dental organizations. However, very few mentorship programs appear to be effective. What is mentorship to you? How can it be facilitated? What should the desired outcome of a mentor relationship be? Can an institutional mentorship program rescue young dentists from the perceived evils of managed care?
